President of Presidential Council Issues Decree Relieving Minister of Defense and Referring Him to Retirement

Today Thursday, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces issued Decree No. (11) of 2026.

Article One of the decree stipulates the relief of Lieutenant General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daeri, Minister of Defense, from his post and his referral to retirement.

Article Two provides that the decree shall enter into force as of the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
