Presidential Leadership Council Decree Appointing Head and Deputy Head of Central Agency for State Security

Today, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces issued Presidential Decree No. (284) of 2025 appointing Major General Mohammed Saleh Eidha as Head of the Central Agency for State Security.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council also issued Presidential Decree No. (285) of 2025 appointing Brigadier General Faisal Badr Mohammed Bajri as Deputy Head of the Central Agency for State Security, and promoting him to the rank of Major General.
The two decrees were issued pursuant to the Constitution, the Law on Service in the Armed Forces, the references of the transitional phase, and with the approval of the Presidential Leadership Council.
The final article of both decrees stipulates that they shall enter into force as of the date of their issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
