Presidential Decree On Appointment of Deputy Ministers in a Number of Ministries

Today, President of the Presidential Leadership Council Decree No. (161) of 2025 was issued, pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen,

And in accordance with the law and the references of the transitional phase,

And pursuant to the decree of the Presidential Leadership Council regarding the appointment of Deputy Ministers in a number of ministries,

It is hereby decreed:

Article One:

The following individuals are hereby appointed as Deputy Ministers in the ministries indicated next to each of their names:

1.    Prof. Dr. Sa’ad Mohammed Sa’ad Mohammed – Deputy Minister of Justice

2.    Dr. Mohammed Sari’ Ali Basardah – Deputy Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

3.    Mujahid Abu Shawarib Issa bin Afrar – Deputy Minister of Water and Environment.

4.    Anwar Ali Yahya Hassan Al-Omari – Deputy Minister of Endowments and Guidance.

5.    Mua’in Mahmoud Saleh Ahmed – Deputy Minister of Local Administration

Article Two:

This decree shall come into force as of the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
