President Al-Alimi Congratulates Tunisian President on Re-election for a Second Term

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Kais Saied of the Republic of Tunisia, on the occasion of winning a second presidential term.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the council members, and the government, expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Kais Saied for abundant health and happiness. Furthermore, he wished the government and people of the Republic of Tunisia progress and prosperity, and the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries to experience further development and growth across various fields.

His Excellency the President praised the steadfast fraternal positions of the Republic of Tunisia—its leadership, government, and people—in support of Yemen, its political leadership, and its republican system. Additionally, he commended Tunisia’s efforts to restore Yemen’s state institutions and to end Iran-backed Houthi militia coup.
