President Al-Alimi Receives Chargé d'Affairs of Chinese Embassy

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Monday, Mr. Shao Zheng, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Yemen.
The meeting touched upon the strong bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and the promising prospects for expanding and pushing them to broader horizons in various fields.
The President of the Leadership Council was briefed by the Chinese Chargé d'Affairs on a presentation on his country's humanitarian and development interventions during the recent period, as well as Beijing's laudable efforts to bring peace and stability to the region.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the Republic of Yemen and the People's Republic of China, and the firm Chinese position alongside the Yemeni people, their political leadership and their aspirations to restore state institutions and end the coup of the Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
