Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council: The escalation of the terrorist militias confirms the insightful vision of the leaders of Decisive Storm in confronting subversive projects

His Excellency President Dr. Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, praised the distinguished historical relations between Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, recalling the prominent stations in the course of these brotherly relations and their development and economic evidence in various fields.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council said in statements to the Saudi newspaper "Okaz", on the eve of the anniversary of launching the Decisive Storm in support of constitutional legitimacy against the coup of the Houthi terrorist militia, that: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by his Majesty, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, emphasized the unity of the two brotherly countries in facing common challenges, defending the Arab identity, interests of the nation, the security and stability of the region.

 

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council confirmed that the Decisive Storm of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy restored hope to the Yemeni people, and to the Arab nation, pride, elevation, and its confidence in the ability to deter subversive projects in the region.

 

The President appreciated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the GCC countries, and brothers and friends for their decisive role in preventing a comprehensive collapse of the state, protecting the interests of the Yemeni people, their aspirations to restore institutions, end the coup, achieve peace, stability and development throughout the country.

 

His Excellency the President indicated that the continuous escalation of the Houthi militia in the governorates of Marib, Shabwa, Taiz, Lahj, Al-Dhalea and others, in addition to the destabilizing military maneuvers and displays of international peace and security, confirms the insightful and advanced vision of the leaders of Decisive Storm. All these confirmed the urgent need for the survival of this Arab alliance as a safety armor for security, stability of the region, and global energy supplies.

 

His Excellency said that the anniversary  of the Decisive Storm, on this twenty-sixth day of March, will remain an immortal day in the history of our people and the entire Arab nation, in which the brothers, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, responded to the call of duty based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, which authorizes the countries of the free world to defend Self, extending a helping hand to deter any armed attack, taking all measures to maintain international peace and security, and restoring the situation to normal. Which is the help that kept for our struggling people a space for freedom and coexistence, and prevented the state from falling into the grip of terrorist militias and their destructive project in Yemen.
