President Al-Alimi offers condolences on the death of parliamentarian, Sheikh Abdul-Ghani Al-Amiri

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Dr. Tariq Abdul-Ghani Hamid Al-Amiri and his brothers, on the passing of their father, Sheikh Abdul-Ghani Al-Amiri, a former member of the Parliament, after a career full of honorable contributions in the service and progress of his country, its people and its progress.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf, the members of the Council and the government, expressed his deep sadness and sincere condolences over the passing of Sheikh Al-Amiri, praising his virtues and prominent roles in serving the nation and society during his holding of many leadership positions in the military and civil fields.

His Excellency the President also praised the efforts of the deceased in charitable work and reconciliation, asking God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy, to dwell him in His spacious Paradise, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
