The President inspects the situation in Ma’rib Governorate

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, made a phone call with Major General Sultan Al-Arada, member of the Leadership Council and Governor of Ma’rib Governorate, to review the conditions in the governorate, the conditions of citizens, and the coordinated efforts with government agencies to improve services, public revenues, and enhance security and stability.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council was briefed by the member of the Council on the general situation in Ma’rib Governorate, and the efforts of the local authority in the security, service and development aspects. In addition to, responding to the humanitarian needs of millions of displaced people who found in Ma’rib Governorate their safe and dignified haven from the oppression of the terrorist Houthi militias.

During the phone call, His Excellency the President affirmed his support for the local authority in enforcing the government’s decisions related to dealing with the prices of oil derivatives, which are still the lowest at the level of the Yemeni governorates, noting the usual rally of the people of the governorate, parties, political organizations and civil society organizations around the leadership of the local authority. In addition to their standing by the state and the legitimate government and supporting its decisions and efforts to maintain public tranquility and meet the service and development needs of citizens.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the importance of concerted all efforts to establish security and stability, cohesiveness, maintain the cohesion of the internal front, and reject violence. His Excellency confirmed that any actions outside the order and law will only serve the Houthi militias lurking in Ma’rib Governorate, and its heroic sons who have demonstrated in their steadfastness and legendary sacrifices the most wonderful epics of struggle against these militias and their destructive project supported by the Iranian regime.
