President Al- Alimi offers condolences over death of Kuwait’s Emir

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al- Alimi , President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences to His Highness Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait's crown prince  on the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, The Emir of Kuwait.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his deep sorrow to Al-Sabah family and the dear  Kuwaiti people on the death of the late Prince Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, noting that his departure is a huge loss for the Yemeni people the Arab and Islamic nations.

President al- Alimi expressed on his own behalf, the council members, the Yemeni government and people, deepest  condolences and sympathy to Prince Meshal , the royal family and the brotherly Kuwaiti people on the great loss of the Emir, praying to Allah, Almighty, to bestow His vast mercy on the deceased, grant patience and solace to his family, and people. The president also prayed for further security, stability, progress and prosperity to  Kuwait, and asked Allah to protect Kuwait against evil and harms.

His Excellency also highlighted the great legacy and good reputation left by the late Emir  of serving  his nation, people, and the Arab world. Stressing the special place that late Emir held in the hearts of Yemeni people, as his highness,  may he rest in peace was a loyal  leader who truly loved Yemen , its people, and supported its political leadership in various stages and circumstances.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the development of  bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries under the late Emir, which is a continuation of Kuwait's longstanding generous economic and developmental support, including Kuwait's active role within the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen , alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, and supporting their aspirations of  restoring State institutions, security, stability and peace.
