President Al- Alimi affirms Yemen's full support for Egypt’s position on the Palestinian issue

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council , reiterated Yemen’s support for Egypt’s honorable position on the Palestinian issue and rejecting any attempts to liquidate it and displace its people who are fighting to establish their sovereign national State.
During his meeting today, Thursday, with Ahmed Farouk, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Al- Alimi praised the Egyptian efforts that led to a temporary humanitarian truce to exchange detainees. His Excellency expressed his hope that such joint joint endeavours along with the brothers in the State of Qatar would lead to a comprehensive and sustainable solution that will end the suffering of the Palestinian people and will ensure realizing its just aspirations in accordance with of international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The meeting touched upon the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means of developing them in various fields. The meeting also discussed Yemen’s leadership, government, and people contributions to bring relief to the Palestinian people and the options for transporting Yemeni humanitarian aid in coordination with the Egyptian authorities.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
