President al- Alimi inaugurates tourist, residential and entertainment marina project in Al-Mahra

  Al-Ghaydah:

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, inaugurated today, Monday, the first phase of the tourist and residential city of Marina project.

He also laid the foundation stone for the asphalting project of its entrance and surrounding streets, and inaugurated its second phase on the Arabian Sea beach in Al-Mahra Governorate.

He was accompanied by the Deputy Chairmen of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith, and Engineer Wahy Aman, as well as the Governor of Al Mahrah Governorate, Mohammed Ali Yasser."

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council listened to a detailed explanation from the director of the Marina Real Estate Development Company (the company executing the project), Ramzi Al-Masabi, about the components of the city, which stretches over an area of one million square meters, with its residential, tourism and entertainment sections, at a total cost of $100 million.

His Excellency the President and his entourage toured the tourist and entertainment pavilions of the investment project, which, upon completion, will include more than 100 residential units in installments and more than 70 chalets distributed along charming sea resorts.

The project, which will be completed in 2028, also consists of a tourist hotel, a water park, an entertainment city, educational and health service facilities, a gas station, a commercial market, a kindergarten, and a security center.

Marina will represent one of the largest tourism investments in Yemen, featuring an integrated entertainment complex that will be able to host artistic performances and local, regional and international events.

The project will also represent a quality leap for tourism activity in Al-Mahra Governorate and an important source of local and national resources.

His Excellency the President was accompanied during the tour by the Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Council, Major General Saleh Al-Maqalih, as well as the Minister of Education, Dr. Tareq Al-Akbari, the Minister of Public Works and Roads, Engineer Salem Al-Aboudi, the Secretary-General of the Local Council of Al-Mahrah Governorate, Salem Neimer, the Deputy Governor, Mukhtar bin Aweid, and a number of officials.
