President Al-Alimi receives cables of congratulations from President Putin on Yemen’s National Day, May 22

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a cable of congratulations today from His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of Russia on the 33rd anniversary of Yemen's National Day, May 22.  

In his congratulatory cable , Russian President said "I would like to express my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Yemen’s National Day, which is the day of Yemeni Unity"... reaffirming Russia's long- standing and supportive position in resolving the Yemeni crisis through political and diplomatic methods.

He added, "Normalizing the situation in Yemen will undoubtedly create favorable conditions for developing Russian-Yemeni cooperation and construction in various fields, wishing Your Excellency good health and success, and to the Yemeni people a speedy return to a safe and healthy life."
