President Al-Alimi Congratulates Al-Shara’a on Assuming the Presidency of Syrian Arab Republic

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a congratulatory telegram to President Ahmed Al-Shara’a, congratulating him on assuming the presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic for the transitional period.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the Council members, and the government, expressed his sincere congratulations to President Al-Shara’a and wished him success in his presidential duties, as well as stability, peace, and development for the brotherly Syrian people.

His Excellency also praised the historic transformations taking place in Syria and the will of its people to build their state and shape their bright future. He expressed his aspiration to work jointly with the new leadership to advance the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples toward broader horizons in various fields.
