
President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Passing of struggler Fadl Mohsen Abdullah

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Mr. Khalid Fadl Mohsen Abdullah and his brothers following the passing of their father, struggler Fadl Mohsen Abdullah, the former minister, member of the Shura Council, and a leading political and national figure. Struggler Mohsen passed away today, Tuesday, after a lifetime of sincere contributions to serving his country and advancing the development of his people.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed on his own behalf, the members of the Council, and the government, sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the brave struggler Fadl Mohsen Abdullah, his fellow members in the Yemeni Socialist Party and the National Movement that achieved the project of statehood and glorious independence.
His Excellency the President highlighted the remarkable career of struggler Fadl Mohsen Abdullah, marked by contributions and sacrifices in serving his country through the various roles and government positions he held. Those positions included Governor of Shabwa, Minister of Finance in southern Yemen, and Minister of Supply and Trade in the first government of the Republic of Yemen, and later as a member of the Shura Council. His Excellency prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the deceased, and inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
