President Al-Alimi congratulates Canada on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to Her Excellency Ms. Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, on the anniversary of the National Day of her friendly country.

On his own behalf and the Presidential Leadership Council, His Excellency the President expressed his sincere congratulations to the Canadian Governor General, and his wishes of abundant health and happiness to her, and to the friendly government and people of Canada further prosperity and well-being.

His Excellency the President also expressed his great appreciation for Canada's steadfast position alongside Yemeni people, its political leadership and its aspirations to restore state institutions and end the terrorist Houthi militias’ coup, supported by the Iranian regime.
