President Al-Alimi congratulates Djibouti on Independence Day

Today, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti, on the anniversary of the independence day of his brotherly country.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf, the members of the Council, and the government, expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Guelleh, abundant health and happiness, to the government and people of the Republic of Djibouti for progress and prosperity under his wise leadership, and for bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries to develop and advance.

His Excellency the President praised the fraternal positions of the Republic of Djibouti, alongside Yemen and its political leadership. He praised Djibouti’s efforts to alleviate Yemen’s human suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
