President Al-Alimi offers condolences on the death of Sheikh Mohsen bin Farid Al-Awlaki

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathies to Bassam Mohsen bin Mohammed bin Farid, and his brothers, on the passing of their father, the prominent political, social figure, and the former Secretary-General of the South Arab League Party, Sheikh Mohsen bin Farid Al-Awlaki, who passed away at dawn today in Cairo. The deceased passed away after a journey full of struggle and sincere patriotic contributions in the service of his country, its people, and its progress.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf, the members of the Council and the government, expressed his sincere condolences and great sympathy to the family of Sheikh Mohsen bin Farid Al-Awlaki, all the Bin Farid family and the Al-Awalqi tribes for their painful affliction.

The President praised the deceased’s virtues, his national and social contributions, and his prominent struggle roles in the national movement to promote the values of justice, equality, and broad political participation. His Excellency asked God Almighty to cover the deceased with His vast mercy, dwell him in His spacious Paradise, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
