President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Death of MG Ahmed Musaed Hussein Shura Council Member and Former Minister

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathies to Yousef Ahmed Musaed Hussein, and his brothers, over the death of their father, the prominent political, military and social figure, member of the Shura Council, former minister and governor, the struggler Major General Ahmed Musaed Hussein. Who passed away after a life full of struggle and loyal patriot contributions in the service of his country, its people, and its progress.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed, on his own behalf, the members of the Council and the government, sincere condolences and great sympathy to the family of Major General Ahmed Musaed Hussein, and the Maraziq tribes. He further praised the virtues of the deceased, his great national contributions, his honorable positions, and his long history of struggle during which he held many political, military and governmental positions. The most prominent of which was governor of Shabwa, head of the State Security Service, Minister of Transport, Governor of Raymah Governorate, and Minister of Expatriate Affairs.

His Excellency the President said: "Yemen has lost with the passing of Major General Ahmed Musaed Hussein, a daring national fighter and a wise leader who devoted his life to serving his country, his people, and his community. We ask God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy, dwell him in His vast Paradise, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace."
