President Al-Alimi offers condolences to UAE President and King of Bahrain over martyrdom of a number of armed forces members

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a message of condolences and sympathy to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the brotherly United Arab Emirates, following the martyrdom of four members of the UAE Armed Forces; in a heinous terrorist act in the Somali capital, Mogadishu. The martyrs were attacked , while fulfilling their mission to train and qualify the Somali Armed Forces.
His Excellency also sent a similar telegram to his brother, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, regarding the martyrdom of an officer from the Bahrain Defense Forces in the same terrorist attack.
In the two condolence cables, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed, on his own behalf, the members of the Council and the government, his deep and profound sadness and grief to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa, to the families of the martyrs, and to the brotherly people of the Emirates and Bahrain, over this painful affliction.
His Excellency, the President renewed his strongest condemnation of this cowardly terrorist act, expressing the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen and its full support for the brothers in the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Excellency asked God to bless the martyrs with His vast mercy, and make them dwell in His spacious paradise, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

The Presidential Leadership Council held a meeting today, Thursday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Council.
