President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences to King of Jordan over Victims of Terrorist Attack

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, over the victims of the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack on the Greek Orthodox Church in Karak Governorate. The terrorist attack claimed the lives of seven people and injured dozens of innocent civilians.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his profound sorrow and sincere condolences to King Abdullah II, the victims’ families, and the brotherly Jordanian people over this painful tragedy.

His Excellency the President affirmed the Republic of Yemen’s full solidarity with the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and condemned and rejected all forms of violence and terrorism. He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the injured a speedy recovery and spare the Kingdom of Jordan and its brotherly people all evil and harm.
