President Al-Alimi Congratulates President El-Sisi on Anniversary of the July 23 Revolution

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President El-Sisi, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the people of Egypt continued progress and prosperity under President El-Sisi’s  wise leadership.

President Al-Alimi praised Egypt’s steadfast support for the Yemeni people, their political leadership, and the republican system throughout various stages and circumstances. He further commended Egypt’s support for Yemen’s development and education sectors.

He also acknowledged Egypt’s Arab and humanitarian role within the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, as well as its efforts to restore state institutions and bring an end to the coup carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

His Excellency the President also praised the historic relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Arab Republic of Egypt and their promising prospects. He highlighted the importance of bilateral coordination to address common challenges and safeguard the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples at all levels.
