President Al-Alimi Congratulates France on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, on the anniversary of the friendly country’s National Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Macron, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and people of the French Republic continued progress and prosperity, and the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries further development and growth.

His Excellency the President praised France’s steadfast support for Yemen, its people, and its political leadership. He further commended France’s support for the Yemeni people’s aspirations to restore state institutions and bring an end to the coup carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
