President Al-Alimi Congratulates Algeria on Independence Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, on the anniversary of his brotherly country’s Independence Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Tebboune, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and people of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria continued progress and prosperity, and the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries further development and growth.

His Excellency the President praised Algeria’s steadfast support for Yemen, its people, and its political leadership. He further commended Algeria’s support for the Yemeni people’s aspirations to restore state institutions and bring an end to the coup carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
