President Al-Alimi Congratulates U.S. on Independence Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, on the anniversary of the friendly country’s Independence Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Trump, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and people of the United States continued progress and prosperity, and the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries further development and growth across various fields.

His Excellency the President praised the steadfast support of the U.S. for Yemen, its people, and its political leadership. He further commended U.S. support for the Yemeni people’s aspirations to restore state institutions and bring an end to the coup carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
