President Al-Alimi Receives Cable of Congratulations from President Putin on Yemen’s National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a cable of congratulations from His Excellency President Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of the 36th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.

President Putin expressed his best congratulations to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council on the occasion of the National Day, wishing His Excellency health, success, and prosperity. He further wished the Yemeni people a swift return to peace and stability.

President Putin also highlighted the Russian-Yemeni relationships, which are based on longstanding traditions of friendship and mutual respect. He stressed that the development of these relations serves shared interests and contributes to ensuring security and stability in the Gulf region and the Middle East in general.
