President Al-Alimi Congratulates President of Russia on Victory Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation on the anniversary of Victory Day of the friendly country.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations to President Putin, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the government and people of Russia continued progress and prosperity, and expressed hope for growth and development in bilateral relations between the two countries across various fields.

His Excellency the President praised Russia’s steadfast stance in support of the Yemeni people and their political leadership. He also commended Russia’s support for achieving Yemenis’ aspirations for security, stability, peace, and development.
