Presidential Decrees Appoint Advisor to the Supreme Commander and Leadership of the Fourth Military Region

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued Presidential Decree No. (91) of 2026 concerning appointments within the command of the Fourth Military Region.

Article One of the decree provides for the appointment of the following officers to the positions indicated against their names:

- Brigadier General Hamdi Hassan Mohammed Shukri as Commander of the Fourth Military Region and Commander of the 7th Infantry Brigade, in addition to his previous role as Commander of the Second Giants Brigade, with promotion to the rank of Major General.

- Brigadier General Staff Mahdar Mohammed Saeed Mohsen Al-Saadi as Chief of Staff of the Fourth Military Region.

- Brigadier General Staff Ali Hassan Ali Obaid Al-Jahouri as Head of Operations of the Fourth Military Region.

President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces issued Presidential Decree No. (92) of 2026. The First Article of the Decree appoints Major General Staff Fadl Hassan Mohammed Al-Omari as Advisor to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces for Defense Affairs and promotes him to the rank of Lieutenant General.

Additionally, Presidential Decree No. (93) of 2026 was issued, appointing Major General Staff Saleh Mohammed Hassan Salem Saleh as Advisor to the Minister of Defense.

Article Two of the decrees stipulates that they shall enter into force from the date of issuance and be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
