Leadership Council chairman holds phone call with President El-Sisi

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, held a phone call with HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Tuesday evening. In which he congratulated him and the Egyptian people on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

 

During the call, they discussed distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways ‎‏ elevate bilateral relations to broader horizons at all levels .

 

 

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council also briefed President El-Sisi on the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, and the good efforts made by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to renew the truce and launch a comprehensive political process based on the Kingdom's peace initiative announced in 2021, in accordance with the agreed-upon national, regional, and international references.

 

President Al-Alimi, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the council, expressed to President El-Sisi his appreciation for Egypt’s honorable position alongside the Yemeni people and its legitimate leadership in various stages and circumstances, including opening its doors to receive hundreds of thousands of Yemenis seeking a safe haven from the brutality of the  Houthi militias.
