President Al-Alimi Congratulates President of Djibouti on His Reelection

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al‑Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh of the Republic of Djibouti, on the occasion of his re-election for a new presidential term.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, the Government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations to President Guelleh on his re-election and winning the confidence of the Djiboutian people, wishing him success in his presidential duties. He further wished the brotherly people of Djibouti continued progress and prosperity under President Ismail’s wise leadership.

His Excellency praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. He also commended Djibouti’s supportive stance toward the Yemeni people, their legitimate government, and political leadership, as well as their aspirations to restore state institutions and end the coup by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
