President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Passing of Former President of Algeria

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to his brother, His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, on the passing of the late former President Liamine Zéroual.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, the Government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to President Tebboune, the family of the deceased, and the brotherly government and people of Algeria over this painful loss.

His Excellency praised the virtues of the deceased and his prominent national roles. He further commended the late president’s significant contributions to serving Algeria during a critical stage of its history, as well as his keenness to strengthen Yemeni-Algerian relations across all levels.

The president prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and inspire his family, loved ones, and the brotherly Algerian people with patience and solace.
