President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Passing of struggler Hameed Al-Authari

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Sheikh Abdullah bin Hameed Al-Authari and his brothers on the passing of their father, the late former Member of Parliament and prominent national figure Sheikh Humaid bin Abdullah Al-Authri. The late MP passed away after a lifetime of struggle and honorable national service in support of his people, their dignity, and their progress.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, and the government, President Al-Alimi expressed his profound sorrow and sincere condolences to Sheikh Al-Authari’s  family for their painful loss. He further praised the virtues of the deceased and his national contributions as a prominent leader among the revolutionaries of the glorious 26 September Revolution, as well as his courageous stance in rejecting the coup by the terrorist Houthi militias and their racist project.

His Excellency the President stressed that, with the passing of Sheikh Al-Authari, the country has lost one of its loyal men who left a distinguished mark on the path of the national struggle for freedom and in defense of the republican system and its great achievements. He commended his sincerity and dedication in all the parliamentary and civil service positions he held, including serving as Governor of Al-Jawf Governorate, in addition to his well-recognized contributions to charitable work and reconciliation efforts. He prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
