President Al-Alimi Congratulates Sudan on Independence Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency First Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in the Republic of Sudan, on the anniversary of the independence of the brotherly country.
On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, the government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Al-Burhan for continued health and happiness. He also wished the government and people of Sudan progress and prosperity, and expressed hope for further development and strengthening of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields.
His Excellency the President praised the stances of the Republic of Sudan, its leadership, government, and people, in standing alongside the Yemeni people and their political leadership, and in supporting their aspirations to restore state institutions and end the coup of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia.
