President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Passing of Struggler Hussein Al-Haddad

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolence to the family of the courageous national struggler, Hussein Abdo Abdullah Al-Haddad, former Secretary-General of the Liberation Front Party. Al- Haddad has passed away after a lifetime dedicated to steadfast service and tireless efforts for the progress, prosperity, and advancement of his country and its people.
On his own behalf, and on behalf of the Council members and the government, President Al-Alimi expressed his profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the family of the late eminent figure. He praised Al-Haddad’s distinguished virtues and remarkable legacy as one of the leading icons of the national movement and the struggle for freedom and independence.
The President further affirmed that with the passing of Al-Haddad, the nation has lost one of its devoted sons, steadfast in his commitment to the principles of the republican system and the aspirations of the Yemeni people for freedom, justice, and equal citizenship, for which he tirelessly struggled and remained loyal until his last breath. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased and to grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
