President Al-Alimi Congratulates Mauritania on Independence Day

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the anniversary of the  brotherly country's Independence Day.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Ghazouani for abundant health and happiness. He further extended wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and expressed hope for the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency the President praised the stance of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania alongside Yemen, its people, and political leadership, supporting its aspirations to restore state institutions and overthrow the coup by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias.
