His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences to the family of the esteemed singer Mohammed Mush’ajil, who passed away on Monday, leaving behind a legacy of rich artistic, singing, and musical contributions.
On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the government, President Al-Alimi expressed his deep sorrow and sincere condolences to the family of the late singer Mohammed Mush’ajil for their profound loss. He praised Mush’ajil’s distinguished artistic career, marked by significant contributions in highlighting the Mehri singing identity and preserving its folk heritage.
His Excellency emphasized that the untimely passing of artist Mush’ajil, at the peak of his artistic and creative talents, represents a great loss to Yemeni art, music, and song in general, and to Mehri music in particular, which he enriched with his unique melodies and songs. His Excellency prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
