President Al-Alimi Congratulates Djibouti on Independence Day

Today, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh of the Republic of Djibouti, on the anniversary of the independence of the brotherly country.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, and the government, President Al-Alimi extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Guelleh for enduring health and happiness. He further wished the government and people of Djibouti continued progress and prosperity under President Ismail’s wise leadership, as well as the development and strengthening of bilateral ties between the two fraternal nations.

His Excellency the President praised the fraternal support of the Republic of Djibouti for Yemen and its political leadership, commending Djibouti’s efforts to alleviate Yemen’s humanitarian suffering caused by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias.
