President Al-Alimi Congratulates Portugal on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa of the friendly Republic of Portugal, extending his congratulations on the anniversary of the National Day of the friendly country.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Rebelo de Sousa for good health and happiness. He also expressed his hopes for the progress and prosperity of the Portuguese government and people, as well as for the continued growth and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
