President Al-Alimi Congratulates King of Jordan on Accession Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the anniversary of Accession Day.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, and the government, President Al-Alimi extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah II, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further expressed his hope for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under His Majesty’s wise leadership, as well as for the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.

His Excellency the President praised the honorable fraternal stances of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—its leadership, government, and people—in supporting Yemen and its people, as well as its political leadership. He also commended Jordan's efforts in alleviating the humanitarian suffering caused by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias.
