President Al-Alimi Receives Cables of Congratulations from President of Sri Lanka on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Received a cable of congratulations from His Excellency president Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen – 22 May.
The Sri Lankan President extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency President Al-Alimi for good health and well-being, and to the Yemeni people for peace, progress, and prosperity.
President Dissanayake affirmed, ‘Sri Lanka and Yemen enjoy long-standing friendly relations, founded on shared values,' expressing his firm confidence that these bonds and close bilateral cooperation will further strengthen in the years ahead.
