President Al-Alimi Receives Cables of Congratulations from President Putin on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a cable of congratulations from His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, extending congratulations on the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.

In his cable , President Putin expressed his sincere congratulations to President Al-Alimi on the anniversary of the National Day. He further conveyed his best wishes for His Excellency’s good health and success, and for the Yemeni people, a swift return to peace and stability. 

The Russian President commended the enduring Yemeni-Russian relations, rooted in traditions of friendship and mutual respect, expressing confidence that bilateral ties would continue developing in a manner that both serves the mutual interests of the two friendly nations and meets regional security and stability requirements.
