President Al-Alimi Congratulates Pope Leo XIV on His Election

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to Pope Leo XIV on his election as Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the government, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed sincere congratulations to Pope Leo XIV, extending his best wishes for abundant health, happiness, success in his new duties. His Excellency further expressed aspiration to work with His Holiness to promote the values of tolerance, love, peace, and coexistence among all peoples and religions.
