Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani, the Speaker of the Parliament, sent a congratulatory cable to His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the members of the Council, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In the cable, Al-Barakani stated, "It brings me and my fellow members of the Presidium of the Parliament, along with all MPs, great pleasure to extend to you our heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. We pray to Allah the Almighty to make this month one of goodness, blessings, security, and peace for our great nation, our dear homeland, and all the peoples of our Arab and Islamic nations.”

He added, "This significant occasion reminds us of the profound meanings embodied in this blessed month, rooted in human values and noble principles. It is essential, especially during this pivotal moment in our nation’s history, to consistently reflect on these ideals. We reaffirm our commitment to our people in continuing the sacred national struggle to liberate our country from the coup of the Houthi terrorist militia and to rebuild national institutions in a way that honors the legacies of September, October, and May. We must achieve victory over the death and destruction propagated by the Houthi gangs, who have turned these principles into mere slogans, imposed a grim reality, and distorted our culture, faith, land, and humanity."

Al-Barakani pointed out that this blessed month comes for the tenth time while our great Yemeni people continue to endure tragic conditions and exceptional circumstances imposed by the war waged by the terrorist Houthi militia. He emphasized that the resulting humanitarian and economic crisis has deeply affected the entire country, with its repercussions reaching every household.

The Speaker of the Parliament stated, "We are acutely aware of the hardships our people are enduring, and we hold a deep conviction that illuminates the depths of doubt. Our faith is as strong as the towering palms and steadfast mountains, firmly believing in the inevitability of triumph over the adversities that have befallen our people—adversities that have robbed them of their smiles and sustenance. It is imperative that all institutions, political entities, and civil and military national forces unite as one in the battle for liberation, the fight against corruption, the rectification of wrongs, and the improvement of the economic situation and living standards of our citizens. This must be our shared goal, a pledge we make to ourselves, and we must not waver or allow trivial matters to distract us from our significant objectives. Our most sacred duty is the restoration of the state after years of hardship that our people have endured. This darkness must come to an end, and the sun of victory must rise triumphantly over the oppressive gangs. We will arrive in Sana'a, no matter how long the journey takes, and the republic, freedom, unity, and democracy will prevail."

Al-Barakani reiterated his greetings on this momentous occasion to our sons and brothers, the heroes in all fields of honor, who confront the gang whose star is about to fade and is poised to draw its last breath, God willing. He emphasized the unity of all military forces with the people to uproot its roots. He expressed his deep appreciation to our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—both the people and the King—for their steadfast support and their unwavering stance towards the Yemeni people as we strive, with God's will, to restore the state. Additionally, he conveyed his heartfelt gratitude for the fraternal positions of the United Arab Emirates and all the countries in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy.

He added, "There are heroic fighters among the martyrs of the war, the wounded, and those missing in the dungeons of the militia. To all of them, we extend our prayers for mercy and healing, along with our heartfelt greetings. We renew our pledge of loyalty to their sacrifices, which will, with God's help, yield the fruits of a resounding victory."
